I remember the first time I hit real wet mud. I found out just how not waterproof my engine is. It kept running but ingested lots of water through the open air element! If I could figure out how to fix that I would love the mud!

thanks to all who helped me get out of the mud and water hole, Boggerless's family are very cool, I was mt pleasure to meet them.

boy, I guess its time for some front tow points! Looks like a lot of fun

how about one of the factory breather assemblies? when I first got my truck I gave mine away and replaced it with an open air element. quickly realized that they are not water proof and found another one of the factory closed breathers. they keep a fair amount of water out plus you can run a hose off of the end and make a snorkle to make it even more water proof.

great pics by the way. looks like you guys had a blast.

I'm thinking very seriously about this! When I was 15 and started building this truck I was so happy to be stripping away hoses and anything stock, and making this thing look like a muscle car engine. 12 years later I wish I had kept the A/C and also held onto the factory air cleaner setup. I would love to snorkle this thing even if I just make it out of black PVC pipe!
