I was going to start fixing my tailgate (hit by drunk driver in my driveway:mad:) and broke the rear glass. ....This will be the first one I have done and was hoping that someone might have some pointers. Look's simple but still would like to do it right. I have the top of now but this is Alaska and that just isn't going to work for long. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

there is really nothing to it. 4 bolts hold the window frame at the bottom of the glass to the regulator.

Sorry to hear about your window. I have been spending quite a bit of quality time back there swapping my oldd rusted out tailgate with a new electric window version.

If this is the fault of a Drunk Driver then take it to a repair shop have them do it easily and save your own time to do other things and make their insurance company pay for it all.

Thanks for the reply. It was hit a couple of years ago and Im just now getting around to fixing it. I broke the window out the other day pulling dents. The replacement window I have is out of my 75 jimmy and the rail is rusty but usable. I was going to actually change the rail but think I will just use it "as is" because it isnt tinted. Will just use it until I find one factory tinted.
