I have a friend who has a mid eoghties 1/2 ton Suburban with a 350. One of te motor mounts is broken. We are going camping next week. Any quick fix? He will replace it later, no time now. Suggestions? :1zhelp: :1zhelp:

chain that sucker down :wink1: we did that years ago to get home on a solid setup that let loose....

or just baby it.. both of mine are pretty wiped right now..

Changeing them should not be that bad in a driveway about an hour. But when something goes wrong on the trail you will have to do a lot of thinking. At least take some new ones with you in case you have to do it on the trail.

Sounds better than the only suggestion that has been made other than here - bailing wire twisted with a power drill to secure it.

replace and get it done now, will end up with other one broken too if you keep it up.,

i have to do both on my 84 stil yet, both are broken, engine sits and shakes side to side badly

good luck
