Broken motor mounts

I was debating on whether or not I should upgrade my motor mounts on my 94 Sub before I prerun Baja with it in Nov. I've never broken the mounts, but I noticed Autofab www.autofab.com had some extra heavy duty mounts. Not cheap at $185 bucks, but they sure look like they would hold up. So, how many of you have ever broken mounts?

is it 2x4 or 4x4 truck? if 2x4 then ha ha ha fun to do . just need to pull the coil springs and then you can get at the bolts to then remove them. the morons made it real fun. i did mine with out and it took me and a friend along with 2 wobble links and 2 extensions and lots of work on a lift.


if i had only known this 2-3 weeks sooner as i had the front all apart . dammit.

The truck is a 94 Sub that's 4WD. Also, anybody bust trans mounts?
