My driver seat leaned back way too far so I switched it to the passenger side for a temporary fix. I can't fix the problem cause the whole seat is like encased in foam. Is there any kind of seat I can pick up at a wrecker that will work? Like a honda seat or anything? Just wondering what I should look for. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I watched and watched for some sort of bolt in application before I replaced my seats. The only ones I found were really rather expensive so I went ahead and fabbed up my own mounts for the Porsche seats I put in. Unless you can find some used Blazer seats that are in good condition I'm afraid my way is prolly your only other option. Some one who knows better will prolly tell ya otherwise though. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif Good luck to ya in the future.

Mine did the same thing, I swapped the seats too.
While the seat was of the base and since the seat was trashed I just cut out around the break and welded in some flat bar.
That worked for a bit and then broke above the flat bar.
I used the seats out of a 77 C20 van. They are not a bolt in deal.
I had to cut the hog rings and strip the seat and welded the K5 seat base to the seat.
The only real glitch is the van seat is taller than the K5's and won't tilt all the way foward. No big deal.

Chev vans are very close
I believe I got mine fron a astro van at the local pic-a -parts (base is identical to whats in my 91 Jimmy)
Hope this helps. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
