And the plug----

Dan at Ruffstuff Specialties (goes by Gravel Maker in the vendor forums) is AWESOME. I placed my order online Thursday two weeks ago--

Dan CALLS ME Friday tells me that the shackle hangers wont be done till following Tuesday.

"No Problem." I say.

I'm figuring middle of this week i will be getting parts.----

Well they show up yesterday--SATURDAY

everything is 1/4 except the shackles----they're 3/8!!!---

Dan at Ruffstuff Specialties is highly recomended (sp?) in my book.

P.S.---The Energy Suspension bushings were from Summit--ordered them Tuesday of this week and they also showed up on Saturday

Cool stuff. I ordered a D60 diff cover from him that i should see on tuesday.

Good deal Danny. The Amigos need to head to Crusces again :). I think Marv got some of his stuff as well, I'll have to ask him if that's what I saw in his garage yesterday.

Disc Brakes

I orderd his disc brake brackets and ran into a problem. They ended up being to small so I called Dan. Let me tell you this man is the best at customer service hands down. He fixed the problem and everything good with in the week. One week later I had my truck back together on the road. and oh yeah these are beefy brakes and I recommend him hands down. Since I have ordered more parts for my other project trucks. I give him 5 stars in my book.

This place makes top notch stuff..... and they make it affordable too!

Danny..... what'cha gonna do w/ all this? :dunno:

Marv

what'cha gonna do w/ all this?

Well, I didn't like how tall it was sittin in the rear and I needed to add another project ot the list:doah: so I cut off all the origional hangers and Im gonna redo everything. gonna bring the whole truck down about 2" in the rear. As of now I want to place the springs parallel with the frame but I don't think that will happen because I think it will be too tall. So if that dosn't work I will just place the hangers just a little higher than stock.

to drop it down the rear shackle mount could be mounted to the top of the lower frame lip. then drill a hole through for the bushing. if you boxed in the front spring mount area you could cut the front mount into the frame rail as well.

Het Dan, thanks for the plug....

And they were the shorties.....before we figured out there was a need for them.....the cutter used a prototype program and cut them short, nobody realized it until the next batch was made, its a pretty small difference but now they have a real purpose, not all misstakes are bad.
