Just read an article about this and it looks pretty cool to me:

The main thing I like is how you don't need to have a hook or thimble or anything on the end. Just hook it straight to your clevis, or whatever. The huge downside is the price. Holy cow. My baseline was a wire rope with roller fairlead and a Factor55 flatlink. Getting rid of the flatlink and replacing roller with hawes does save quite a bit of money. I figure it would be about $100 more or so to go with this.

What do you guys think?

I've never priced their winch rope but I know they're pull ropes are crazy expensive.

I've been looking at the flatlinks, I'll probably end up getting one. There was some discussion on pirate about wether or not they're made out of strong enough material for the job but I think the final consensus was it was fine.

Holy crap that's some expensive rope. How's it hold up in mud, as far as internal abrasion?
