Hey guys, I was wondering what some of you have done to prevent your floor boards from cracking?
Mine unfortunately have already cracked once, but they have been welded. I am just paranoid that they are going to do it again.
I have heard it is caused due to the lack of surface area where the bucket seats mount, and have seen some people on other websites make "plates" that the seats bolt over to strengthen them up and give them more surface area. I really am not interested in welding something in or replacing the seats all together at this time. I would just like to see what some of you may have done or know if anyone sells some sort of kit to reinforce the floors in our old rigs.
Thanks!
