anyone ever run these things? if so how are they? the tire would be going on my 78 k5 wich is a dd/mild off-road

I would never run those, just because the name is way too redneck for me...

my freind is running them right now, we have yet to wheel them but theyre loud as hell. pretty beefy looking and they seemed like an allright tire. they were 16s too.

The title says Buckshot Mudder but your picture is a Kumho. Which tire do you want a report on?

I ran Buckshots for years (Q78-16 , aprox. 36x12.50-16). They worked great off-road. I drove through Canada to Alaska with the burb fully loaded towing a loaded trailer and had two tires seperate:doah: . It's a good thing I started the trip with eight of them. I sold them when I got here (after putting 25,000 miles on them) and they still had over 1/2 tread on them. I still have one I am using for a spare.

As for the Kumho tires, I know nothing.

Same thing I was thinking. Buckshots are popular down here. They are great mud tires, but are louder than almost anything on the road IMO.

I had them on the blazer, 33x12.5 i believe.. They may have been just 12" wide. But they did very well in the mud and rode nice on the street. They were loud though. They have a high pitch whine.. But they are a pretty good tire. My brother had them on his suburban before me for about a year and a half, then i put them on the blazer and they had plenty of tread left. They still do. But they arent on a truck right now. I know 2 other trucks that have them and they both love them but say the same thing about how loud they are. I think i would run them again. ;)

had a buddy with those Kumhos on his Ranger in 32/11.5s were a good tires, not alot of weight on them though.
