anybody know where i can git the old school bug shields for say a '78 chevy k5?

im talkin like the straight up and down ones, not the custom wrap super aerodynamic things.

wish i had a pic, i been searchin lotsa sites too:dunno:

i love the look of those, and want one bad, havent seen one in prolly 10-12 years, but i remember i liked, and mom wants ta know what i want for xmas.

*and btw, i will be very impressed if someone can point me in the right direction on this, cuz every website SUCKS ARS when it comes to finding this, they NEVER show the right picture, and all the websites are a freagin disaster!!! lame.

I have one of those flat ones in the garage, no, you can't have it, although i don't think it looks all that great, it does work pretty decently when i go on longer road trips :D

I actually used it when i drove from Arizona to Indiana, ran through some snow, in New Mexico, in April if you can believe that, it helped keep my windshield clean.

can i have it

I have one too. Still in the box, wrapped in plastic. Its old school, straight up and down. Was bought new in 85 or 84.

If you want a solid straight up/down one, i'd head to a local plastics place with your truck. Get them to make it. Bend the bottom to attach to the underside of the hood, slight bend in middle, round corners.
Done.
