Buggy and trugys come clean

If you get stuck in the middle of (treat it like a truggy but with full body panels) you have the rattle issue. I want the truggy setup too but it is a lot of sacrifices if you drive on the street. I am pretty happy with the "I don't care 'bout the body attitude" Maybe one more season and I will cross over to the "dark" side [insert picture of Russ].

Re-reading this I have effectively avoided an answer to the question.

I still like having a windsheild and roof with my S10 Blazer. If you are going truggy, I would start with something with a firewall, and would suggest using an S10 truck cab. This way it is A LOT narrower than a K5, and you still have some creature comforts left. Build a buggy type cage around it, and have fun. Leave as much of the sheetmetal as you want. Also, I would start with a Suburban frame. Nice and straight, and you can shorten the wheelbase to a better-for-wheeling 115"-120" easily. I stuck with the S10 Blazer, and now have a 110" wheelbase, but am thinking of trasnferring to a Sub frame for the wheelbase, and adding sheetmetal for the extra length.

One of my main goals when I chopped my Burb up was keeping the windshield and frame intact. I just narrowed the frame down on mine that way I kept the wipers and I like the fact that it still resembles an early suburban

I wish I would have kept mine more looking like a truck. but other than that---nothing. get lots of blades and lots of welding.
