Build advise:Crew cab or S10 on 44's

I have a S10 with 350/465/205,D44,14bolt,6" Tuff Country.I just bought a 89 chevy crew cab with 454tbi/465/205 with the intentions of swapping my suspension to the cc but I just bought 44" tsl's and now that I see them on the S10 Im thinking about swapping the D60 and the 454tbi into the S10.What do you guys think?
 
I think they are your trucks.... Build what you want with what you have, for the purposes you want to use it for. None of us are building your rig - you are.

End of story.
 
D44 into the crewcab, D60 under the S10. leave the 454 where its at in the crewcab. buy trailer, install 44s on S10, wheel the wee out of it, and have a safe way to get it home afterwards.
 
i'd like to see pics of this s10. it seems like it will be a helluva job to get a big block into the s10.
 
I think you would have a hard time fitting 44s under an S10 without a whole bunch of lift. But i think the S10 on 44s would be cooler.

I agree with beater, keep the smallblock in the S10 and throw the 60 under it and beat the snot out of it.
 
The S10 cab is on a 77 K5 frame 114in WB with 6in TC lift and custom body mounts to keep the body as low on the frame as possible.The S10 cab mount amount to about a 2in lift.I already have the 44's on with no clearance problems.I think im going to swap axles and be done.Thanks for everyones input.
 
whatever. i have a kick@ss magnetic tool box w/ thick mic'd walls and a small refrigerator for a good Rickards Red.

I second that. Most of the time when people come here looking for advise, they usually already have their mind made up what they are going to do anyway, despite any opions anybody gives them.

I say put the 60 under the S10 and the 44 under the crew cab, buy a trailer and start hardcore wheeling the s10.
 
i say put the 44s on the crewcab and buy a trailer, and tow the crewcab with the s10 haha
