building my pipe tail gate

Finally back to working on the blazer, cutting pipe right now so I can build a custom tailgate to mount my spare and 2 gas cans. Any body else have something similar on the ass end of their blazer? /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif

I don't have a tailgate but I do have one of these.....

Trying to figure a way out to mount my fuel and water caans now so keep us posted.

Cool pics, as soon as I get mine done and some paint on it I will post them. As you can see on your tire carrier with that big of a tire you can not mount a can on each side of the tire, wich is what I was trying to do, to fix my problem I am going to mount them on the inside of the tailgate /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif it cuts down cargo space some but still enough room for a deer or two.
