Anyone have pics of crossmembers they've built for their rigs? I need to build a new one for the blazer to work with the AA adaptors for my atlas. The crossmember needs to be almost flush with the frame rails but not quite. It needs to come down an inch or two from flush. Anyone got 'em?

I would like to try and build one one day, the stock "W" crossmember looks so pathetic.

i built one, i took a pic of it awhile back and it didn't turn out worth a crap.

anyway i used 2" angle iron and 1.5" round tube and welded the tube to the angle iron. the i bent some 1.4" in a wide u like this |____| and ground the sides to fit the round tube. i drilled two holes to fit the mount in the bent plate and welded it to the center of the tube. i bolted it so the tube and the angle iron was above the frame. i clocked my tcase at the same time so you would have to do something to clear the front drive shaft.
