1984 Chevy K30 CUCV- clean title Street legal except for "full hydro"
I had a 2002 6.0 vortec motor in it, and broke some connecting rods, so I am building it to put in something else. All of the wires are labeled to make the gauges hookup to the new motor easy. The cross member and motor mounts are setup to work with a gen III chevy motor.
I know I am forgetting stuff, but that most of everything. I have lots invested and this rig works well for its size. Motor. Only problem with the truck is leaky beadlocks. They leak down ever couple of weeks.
Front Axle
Dana 60, 5.38 gears, detroit locker, dedenbear knuckles, yukon chromoly shafts, longfield U joints, Summit machine drive flanges.
Rear Axle
14 Bolt 5.38 Gears, Detroit locker, disk brakes, BTF truss, anti wrap bar with heims
Steering
PSC full hydro kit on a BTF mount, 7075 aluminum tie rods from Branik Motorsports, Borgeson steering shaft, cooler, PSC reservoir and orbital (3.5 turns lock to lock). Quick release suede steering wheel.
MISC
Ron davis aluminum radiator, Poly motor mounts. 20 gal aluminum fuel cell.
Tranny
Rebuilt TH400, art carr shifter, inline aluminum cooler
Transfer Case
Twin Sticked 205 round pattern 32 spline, 1410 HD drive shaft in rear, HD 1350 shaft in front, U bolt yokes on each axle.
Body/Cage
Narrowed front end, custom bumper from Diy4x (no winch). Warn hi/low beam lights, custom grille, professional built cage inside and outside(1.75" .120 wall DOM). LED tail and reverse lights, boatsided with UHMW skins and DOM tubing. Lexan windshield, Full skid under tranny/transfer case. UWS toolbox with Optima Red top inside.
Interior
Beard Seats, crow harnesses attached to cage. Custom aluminum dash with autometer guages and moroso switch panel.
Suspension
Around 4” of lift. Skyjacker springs front, BDS springs in the rear (52”) with DIY4x shackle flip. Skyjacker shocks all around.
