bump steer update

Installed a drop pitman arm and stock steering arm (thanks thor!) on my 4" lift an I now have almost no bumpsteer. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifStill have some which is normal but the steering wheel no longer jerks back and forth. Dont know why in the hell 4" lift kits come w/ the raised arm. Its about 4" taller than the stock one. Draglink length was reduced by about 1 1/2" using the drop pitman arm. Raised arm is good for a 6" lift and stock pitman arm but not for a 4" kit which they recommend it for. Oh well live and learn.
p.s. slightly used raised steering arm for sale..

Did you use the 2" drop or 4" drop pitman arm?

I used the skyjacker pt #ca-90 its about a 1 1/2" drop and was the only one I could find that was made for a 4X4 box.

I couldn't find the #ca-90, it did however show a ca-50 for a 2" drop..

I have a bump steer problem also and this is going to be my next choice to try to eliminate it.. I hope..
