I am building a bumper for the front of my k5 blazer and i want to to be one of the most hardcore heavyduty ones out on the trails, it has to be able to support a winch, but i need some pointers on how to buld it what to do what to make it out of. It has to be beefy i mean beefy but i need help with ideas, pic would be nice too, thansk everyone good to hear from you.

For your first bumper build I would suggest something out of large square tubing... its just easier.. I built mind and later added a winch plate to it. I also suggest doing what I did and cutting the front frame horns flat so that you can slide a smaller piece of square up inside those to attach it. it also helps to serve as an additional crossmember.
here are some pics of mine... if you have any more questions post up.

Ryoken - That is the bumper I modeled my winch bumpers after. It has been my alltime favorite on this site. I had it saved from years ago in the original post.

Look who happens to be Truck of the month too!
