Quick update, I confirmed valving specs with Rancho on various shocks today. Net result I ordered some R999112 adjustable which are 3" shorter on the body to reduce the likelihood of bottoming out. I have more than enough down travel so it's a good compromise. Plus I get a lot more compression damping which is needed with my soft springs:
