What do you lifted guys do about your front bumpstops? Since my leafs are really soft I now need to do somethig about bumpstops to prevent bottoming out my shocks. I have 14" bilstiens up front with f250 mounts and I set them up with 5" of up travel. Shocks bottom out long before bumpstops get close and this can even happen just driving on bumpy/wavey roads. I'm thinking about using a somewhat progressive bumpstops and setting it up to make contact just a couple inches in to the up travel so it can cushion gradually. I need to make some sort of bumpstop extensions. I wanted hydro bumps but those are way out of the budget. Just wondering what other guys have done...

Kert at Diy4x.com offers some adjustable bumps.

IMO this is the coolest damn thing when you want to do air bumps later, but cant afford them now, and it allows you to not have to fabricate things twice. AND they are cheap, and you could totally sell them later.

I love my air bumps though. They are one of my favorite upgrades. They make a landing that would normally be really harsh, feel like butter.

So if I'm understanding correctly the poly performance part is designed like an air stop but it is solid and accepts a regular bumpstop on the end?

Correct. Then when you have the extra cash later, you already have the cans mounted and you just slip the aluminum things out, sell them off, and insert the air bumps.

Its pretty damn genius in my opinion.

Saves you time and money from having to do things one way with some silly drop bracket, then have to hack it off down the road...
