So I've talked about this before. I reworked my front 56" springs and now and I'm sitting a little higher. I ran it up the ramp today till I lifted the rear tire. ( Ya I know it will flex a little more on the trail) but anyways see pict. I need to drop my bumpstop some. I'm thinking like 2.5" more? what do you guys think? I don't know how much these poly bumps wi)l compress?

Not sure I would lower it. Your spring is not flat and you still have shock travel. Is something hitting at that point ?

I think those poly bumps will go to half their length when fully compressed..basically it gets rid of the two air spaces, but it takes a lot to make it happen on both. the pockets collapse at different rates because of the way the angle is cut in the pockets. The top pocket collapses down first and then the lower pocket if it has to.

It's not to far from flat though. My thinking was that the springs are going to settle a little bit more, and on the trail it will get flexed harder that I can get it on the ramp? I just replaced the 2nd from bottom leaf with the clamps on it with a new leaf and then the one under that was out of an old set of 4" lift springs. I had to re-arch it a little more at work in the rollers to get it to match the other leafs when they were loose. So I dont really know how its going to last. I'm just making it up as I go. But I did get the effect I wanted and it stiffened up the front enough so it isn't quite so squirrelly at speed.

Maybe I'll just lower it 1.5" first and try that for a while. I don't want to limit the uptravel on the trail too much, but I also don't want to overflex the front leafs too much either?

You've got 7 elements in that spring pack..
Do you think you CAN even over compress them!

They're a 1/2 ton rear spring pack with an unknown amount use except the one new leaf I added. Before I added the new leaf and the extra one under it they we only slightly curved up sitting at ride height. They were way too soft. Sounds like most people us 3/4 rear packs when running 52s or 56s. I'm just trying to be cheap for now and make them work.
