Sorry, newbie here! I have a few questions about some ORD products.

1. What size wheels work with the 14 bolt disc brake conversion? 15"s, 16"s, or do I have to go larger?

2. Will a dana 44 passenger flat top knuckle fit on a 10 bolt? I know it's stupid to upgrade a 10 bolt to crossover steering, but it's what I got, and I have the knuckle, just trying to save some time.:o

Sorry, I'm sure you have heard these questions thousands of times, and I did try to search your website before I asked, but after sifting thru 20 or so pages about doubler shifters and doubler crossmembers, I gave up. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.:k5:

knuckle as long as tierod is same upper or lower as your axle is now. the taper is etherway over the years.

will need to grind the top of the caliper a little to fit 15x10 steel wheels. if you want no grinding go 16" or more or if you want aluminum wheels go 16" or more.

I only had to grind on the front calipers, the rear had over 1/8" clearance.

so does it fit or not? i'm in the same situation:o
yeah, it fits. I found a D44 out of a '73 with both flat top knuckles. The tie rod goes in thru the top, whereas my '84 10 comes thru the bottom, so i took the knuckes and tie rod and used it all. I'm runnin' 16" aluminum wheels now - haven't picked up any 15x10 steelies yet.

sory to thread jack. couldnt make my own post for some reason... i have 3/4 ton that i wanna put crossover steering.. do i have to buy a knuckle that has 8 lug or can i get the ones with 6?? thanx so much..

the knuckles have the same spindle studs so it won't make a difference (read: no, you can get any flat top and just re-use your 8 lug outers)
