I have a 87ish Burb with an ac unit hanging from the roof just in front of the rear window. I was thinking about transplanting the front and rear AC into my 74 Full Sized Heep. Is that rear system as well as the front ran on off the same AC Pump or is it a stand alone unit? I haven't looked into it at all and was wondering if it was even worth the effort. I am running a york now for my OBA but was thinking about running a second pump for the AC.

Run off a single compressor, the line is just split. Front uses a orifice tube, rear uses an expansion valve.

Correct, one compressor. And thats actually a pretty cool idea, mine has rear AC and i have been tossing the idea around of running rear heat in mine as well because i have all the parts from an old burb

Thanks guys, Now I have some idea what I will be up against. Sounds like its going to be a lot of work to swap it over but might be worth the effort. :waytogo:
