Will it work look close to same size simlaer folding mechinism and stuff but the burbans comes out the truck. Talking bout third row seat in early 90s burban to replace factory k5 1988 blazer back seat will it work

mines a fold and tumble but it dont remove. ive noticed the third row seat in burbans has same folding thingy but it also removes out the truck. Would be nice to stick a air matress in back of the k5 on camping trips ;)

I have a 1990 Blazer and the back seat looks identical to the Suburban backseat. I just went through a junkyard and found one in the same interior color. The only difference I've noticed is the Blazer backseat has no armrests, your armrests are velcro'd to the rear wheelwheels. The Suburban backseat has armrests on both ends with ashtrays in them. As they accomodate the rear tire, it looks to be the same width as the blazer backseat and the mechanism works exactly the same. My goal was to make a 3rd row for my blazer as we are a family of 6 and we have buckets in the front instead of the bench.

So has anyone else thought or tried my idea?

Did u noticed the burbs back seat has same mechinism but it removes out like a jeeeps rear seat ;)

my 1990 blazer seat folds up and can be removed. I'm still getting everything I need to put the suburban backseat in the truck so I'll have a 3rd row.

MY Truck is a 88 k5. did i miss something when i folded it . i cant figure out how to remove it without useing a rachet and ubolting everything... but could figure it out in the burbans i saw

I had to remove a few bolts to get the back seat out...I got confused as its been a while removing the back seat in the blazer and we've been working on my buddies suburban and the 3rd row seat comes out...thats an option for this blazer of mine, how to make it work!

It can be done, but in order to do it, you'll need to get the front floor pockets from the burb and weld them into your blazer floor where the burb 3rd seat will mount.
