Burning alot of oil help.

Hi, first of all, I can only get access to internet every few days so sorry in advance if I don't answer any questions right away.

Ok so, I burn a quart or two every few weeks.
Upon start up, I get a nice big puff of blue smoke, it fades away after a few seconds.

Driving normally it doesnt really smoke much, but if I stop at a long light, or let it idle, it smokes on take off. Also if I give it alot of gas suddenly, it will blow a puff.

I've done an oil change, put high mileage oil in, thot that might help, not so much. So where should I start looking for leaks?

Oil smoke at start up and off idle usually indicates the valve seals are shot.

How many miles are you driving before having to add a quart?

Whats involved in changing the valve seals?
And miles per quart, hard to say, dont drive the same distance every day. And im not driving it every day anymore, got myself a 09 sentra to take to work every day, not thrilled with the car, but it does the job of getting me A-B at 30mpg, lol.
