Burning up Coils! Help!

I'm working on a 84 GMC 4x4 pickup and I've burnt up 3 coils in 10 days. I'm at a loss here, I don't know crap when it comes to electrical stuff. I've double checked all the grounds and they seem okay. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

HEI? is so, make sure you have the dround strap that goes under the coil cover.

Yes it is a HEI. Doesn't it ground to one of the 4 screws that hold the coil in place?

there is a metal tab that goes under one of the screws, then goes over to where the electrical plug hooks up.

yeah, there's a red wire, a yellow wire and a black wire that come out of the coil, the black wire gets connected to one of the screws right?

yes, then there is a metal tab from there that goes to the conn.

You don't happen to have a pic of this metal tab do you? I'm not sure that I know what you mean.

Dist on left, need to have ground going to center terminal from coil screw.
