Bushing grease

What type of grease should be applied to poly & rubber spring bushings?

You can use bearing grease or whatever is handy in the grease gun for the poly bushings. Poly is impervious to most chemicals. Never heard of using grease on rubber bushings. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Besides, the rubber bushings absord grease/oil and deteriorates them.

Oil/grease eats rubber, nothing on those bushings.

They make special grease for poly bushings if you desire.

I use regular synthetic wheel bearing grease though.
