I'm gearing up to put some 56" springs in the front of my 1986 K1500, and I'm not sure which bushings to get. I read somewhere that bushings for the rear springs will be too narrow for the front shackles, is that right? What do you guys use? Do you put spacers between the shackle sides and the bushings or do you find bushings that work?

Thanks, and I'm sorry if this has been covered. I searched and read the "All the 52" threads in one place" threads.

A lot of you guys run 52" springs in front, anybody have a part number or source for bushings that will work? Should I just use rear bushings and put washers next to them?

As stated, Kert @ DIY4X has washers for the duty.

I actually just welded a piece of 1/4" stock to the bottom of my shackles; I think Kert mentions welding the washers to the shackles.
