I run 6"s of lift with 35's, broke one once on a tree but used fiberglass to fix it and you cant even notice it.
I have them. I did crack one, but my tires are 44's. the flares are only 40" wide, so my tires hit them. 12" lift. I bought a used set off Ebay. 240 shipped.
a have a good friend that bought a set for a build up of his 82 and ended up not needing them with the backspacing of wheel he used. I can hook you up with his email if you are interest.
