My 1987 K-5 will not start. The starter works fine, there is fire to the plugs, have tried pouring gas in the throttle body, it hits but will not crank. Help, what could the problem be?

not sure if the 87 and 89 are the same , but on my 89 I had a bad Ignition control module that went bad , that circuit comes from the computer to the ICM and then to the injectors . if i remember right . the ICm prevented the injectors to fire.

Dang Mike I hate it when my bad parts go bad! :haha:

I would pull off the distributor cap and make sure your timing didn't slip some. Probably not the problem but something to check
