Well, I've decided to sell this 69 Blazer rather than get into yet another project. I sent a mail to someone that expressed interest in it in my original thread. If I don't hear back from him, I'll post it in the classifieds. I went over it thoroughly today and didn't get any big surprises so it's pretty much how I described it earlier. All the running gear is fine and it has a few not-too-bad rust issues. I took it through emissions yesterday and got it licensed. Anyhow, look for a classified on this if you are interested. Thanks.

Well, I have to say that if you are in that much of a hurry to get rid of it, you were never really "1st Gen Material" to begin with....

This truck belongs with someone else.

Hey, that kinda hurts! Actually, I had a 70 some years ago. Right now I've got 67 and 68 Ford pickups and an old Suburban. I think this one is one too many.

Maybe you should get rid of the other ones? I'm partial to the convertible blazer/Jimmy myself.

Good luck

I have to agree. I can't wait until I get my hands on one. One of my dream vehicles for sure.

Hate to see you give it up but if its not for you, its not for you. Are your two Fords in great shape? If not, I'd sure give hard consideration to getting rid of one of them - there just aren't many K5's in that kind of shape left and the chances of you finding another one later on are slight.

Yea, I've had my old F-100s for a long time and am emotionally attached to them. My Suburban is a repo from one of my kids and I always wanted one anyhow. The 62 Fairlane in my driveway belongs to my son-in-law. I put the Blazer up here and on another Chevy site. If I don't sell it in the next few days, I'll put it up on eBay. Funny thing is that my wife wants me to keep it but I just can't part with those Fords!

I'm on the northwest side. Nearest cross streets are Ina & La Cholla. Send me an email and I'll give you my address and directions. My email is oiga at comcast dot net.

Keep it!!

Okay take it for what it's worth, but here's my advice. Throw another 2 grand at it and put a floor kit in it. Year one, LMC Truck, and some other guys have them readily available. The kits are cheap, but if you don't weld that's where your expense will come in. Put the floor in it. Either coat it or put the carpet back. Lose that tailgate. Someone on here can probably help you out, otherwise grab a skin from the same place as the floor and have the same welder do this at the same time. If you do this, you will just about double the value of that truck. If you STILL don't want it after that, you can probably fetch over 10 grand for it on ebay after those mods. If none of this sounds worthwhile, I can always come pick it up tomorrow for 4 grand! :D
