I am about to get a used 350, is there anything I should look out for? like certain castings that sucked/not great, certain ones that are better and such?

I know of a guy here near Montgomery that has a complete '97 Vortec with 62,000 miles. It has all of the wiring and computer with it, as well as the complete front of the motor(ac compressor, power steering pump, alternator, and all brackets). He is asking $900 for all of it.
