Buying Diff. Cover - What Size Ring Gear

I'm buying a differential cover from Summit for my 10 bolt. They have one for a 7.5" ring gear and one for 8.2"/8.5" ring gear. Is there any way I can tell the diameter without pulling off the cover and measuring it? It's a stock 10 bolt rear end with 3.42 gears and limited slip.
