anyone know where to get a decent deal on some tires? Looking for some 285/75/16s for my girlfriends tacoma. preferably something Mud Terrain or All Terrain. Everyone I have called wants over $900.

www.treadwright.com. They are retreads, and they are awesome. I ran them and they were nearly indistinguishable from a new BFG A/T.

not a fan of the bfg a/ts I think they wear like crap. but thanks for the link. i actually just ordered some General Grabber AT2s from onlinetires.com
discount tire direct was the last place I looked for tires, they had better prices than even my wholesale tire distributors I deal with on a daily basis (I work at a car dealership). Shipping was included in the price of the tire, whereas tire rack is tire plus shipping. Something to keep in mind when shopping...
