Bye bye K5, i know I\'m a traitor

Looks like the K5 will be going in the not too distant future :-/. I shook hands on a deal today for a 1990 GMC 1500 long bed single cab. $2800 with 120k miles and a new engine and trans not too awful long ago. The K5 is my daily driver and I can't keep having it break down or all the other problems with it if I am gonna drive it daily. Hopefully this new ride is a lot better, but don't worry a set of 38s and a SFA conversion are on the menu I believe /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I am not 100% the K5 is going but 99% sure. Can't afford insurance on 2 vehicles and I could really use the money for the SFA project.

a 1/2ton I think not. Besides I don't go wheeling anywhere, just random mud pits and daily driving so it doesn't make sense for me to have 2 rigs. Besides I can't afford to modify 2 vehicles as well.

wheres the fun in that? nah that sounds like a good plan too but his way would give him the money right away instead of saving it up... but if you did keep the k5 and cut the top off and put a roll cage in it and 1 tons or 3/4 tons since it is mud and not rocks but whatever anyway that would be sweet. I got rid of my 87K5 too, but about a year later I redeemed myself and bought a 1st gen.

You'll be back /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

But as long as you love cars, I'm sure you'll always fit right in around here.
