Ok ill get this section going again:D

Got some bilstein bypasses cheap so now im wondering is it overkill??? im not a rock crawler kind of guy, i like the trails ordinary things nothing to crazy im keeping the body intact..pretty much i do pre runs..

Now i got soft ride leafs up front and 2.5 shocks got them re valved and i can still feel the soft when over bumps of even curving on the road, so would the bypasses be a good step?

You can't change spring rate with shocks. No matter what you try.

However you can slow down the compression in the last few inches of travel with most bypass shocks. However bypass shocks also tend to be somewhat velocity sensitive so tuning will be key. You will probably still feel how soft the springs are depending on how much bleed the pistons are set up with.

If you have them try them out. I think they are probably over kill for what you are wanting to do but it can't hurt to try them. You can change everything about a bypass shock so getting them tuned in will probably result in a nice ride but will take a while to get there.

I bet I have 20 hours in tuning my bypasses. Well worth the work when I was done. Just do not change weight on the truck once it is done. Ran last weekend without the top. Big difference.

you can dial in your compression and rebound with the bypasses changing how the truck rides big time.
