I've got a 70 swb it's been notched using a mc gaughys kit I think, anyways the notch looks wrong to me it doesn't hug tight to the frame, any help or advise would be nice. Here's th pics.

I was recently looking into c-notch's and found this interesting post on another forum. IDK what your plans are for your truck, but it may be something to think about.

K5 octane your notch is tight thru the offset of the frame, My plate sits around 1/4-3/8 off. I'll check it in the morn, the truck will never be used to haul or pull anything. Your set up looks good by the way.

Are you setting your truck up for an LS, just guessing with the tank you used.

Nasty, my plans too. I put a 5.3 in a 87 k5 and love it.
