trying to decide if its worth putting a hitch on this to pull my K5 and trailer. 427 gas / allison

That is sweet. I would do it. Isn't gonna pull like a diesel. But dang cool

I agree. Cool Tow rig. Has work lights on the side, Load lights in back, and plenty of storage for tools, straps, gas, etc. I like it. :waytogo:

Are those bench seats inside the box? Fire truck in a past life?

I'd rock it, always wanted one of those, though my preference would be the earlier style hood where the whole shell flips up.

I'd also do more cabinets up top at the front of the box. Can't have too much storage :haha:

In TN? It's flat enough here in the South you'd probably be ok. I'd rock it for sure.

Yes it was a rescue truck then made into a swat truck (bench seats in rear). I drive it fairly regularly, will run 60 pretty easy. Has 7.11 gears and 40" tires, so its a crawler! lol

I'd rock it. I'd dress it out like a Chalet. Is it wide enough to put a bunk across the top front like a chalet? Throw a gennie, compressor and 110v welder in one of the outside panels and you'd have a complete tow/ repair vehicle.
