whats different between the two? isnt it just the hubs themselves are different?

im cleaning my garage and throwing out junk. i have a set of drums that are close to new with the hubs attached that came off a c&c truck are the drums the same and are the hubs the same as a SRW?

Hubs are DRW hubs if you put the SRW hubs on it, it will be a SRW 14FF but you will need to change the brakes as the backing plate flanges are in the wrong spot.

If you are running discs just get weld on brackets rather than bolt on and you should be good to go.

Wait for some other opinions I could not be spot on.

The C&C 14bff is a weird one.

The drums are dually drums.

The hubs are dually hubs, i.e. are spaced IN farther than the SRW hubs.

The axle tubes and shafts are the same as SRW, but as mentioned, the brake flange is farther back for the deeper dually drums.

In your case, the drums and hubs are good for any dually, 14bff or D70, but no, won't be so useful for folks with SRW axles.
