1/2 ton status
my wife and step son looked at a K5 while visiting her parents near Kalamazoo.
i specifically point out the body that i thought absolutely had to be there.
well they bought it, (see my post of having to tow it back home), and when i got up there to tow it, i find the rear cab body mount cut right past the frame, no body bushing bolts for the front of the cab, and that main "beam" so to speak that runs from the firewall over the 2 mouns and goes up to meet the bed were pretty much gone.
this will be the last time i let the purchase a vehicle with out me being there, and the really kicker is we all went to look at a K5 that was in better shape, and i had ask them if the Michigan K5 was in better shape, and i had gotten a yes.
what are my options for replacing that "beam"?
