Any one ever changed these. My 91 has some really retarded looking lights on it and was wondering if there are any I can swap them out with for a better look.

When you say they look "retarded", are you talking about the stock lights? Or did someone swap in some aftermarket lights? IMHO, the factory lights look fine.

I just bought a truck with these factory lights and HATE them. I took them off and tossed them in the trash.

Before I weld the holes shut I would also be curious if there is a cooler looking replacement. Maybe just putting in flush mount LEDs? Granted they would shine straight up but you would still see some light forward.

These are the ones I'm talking about:

They look fine to me......

No offense but you thinking they look fine does not make them okay for those of us that don't like them. I think they look "fine" on "other peoples trucks":wink1:

Those ones in the picture came on my crew cab and I personally HATE them. I took them off and am about ready to weld the holes shut unless there is a cool (modern) looking alternative.:D

Haha, I like em too cancan, hell, I added em to mine.

For you haters though, maybe if you like the newer 3 light style with the big center light you can put that on instead.

I'd be glad to pay shipping for them and I'd even take the wiring harness if you want to get rid of. :D

Seriously!!

Your not alone cancan. If it's a one ton it has to have them,IMHO.

Sorry, already cut the wires and tossed them in the trash last week:doah:

What about fitting the ones off the late 90's body style and maybe the smoked ones if you like that style. They are low profile in my opinion.

What about going with the OEM LED clearance lights from the Hummer H2? I am sure there is a H2 forum somewhere where an H2 owner has upgraded to the clear or smoked lights? I think I am going to get a set for my suburban.

Hey now. That is kind of what I am looking for.

Something smoked and low profile might work nice on my Crew Cab.

I found this in a quick search.

Yea found a place here in town to get newer style smoked or clear for 90 bucks. going to be swapping mine out in a few weeks.

Never thought I'd see the word "TACKY" on a truck forum :D
I don't like 'em on mine, either. If you find something else that will work, PM me, I'd like to see it. I'm afraid you're either stuck with 'em or you'll have to weld the holes shut.
