Cab Lights

Hey guys, so my new house has a very normal size garage door and my dually JUST squeaks in, the cab lights are rubbing the seal of the garage with 1/4" to the frame. The cab lights are a mess anyways the previous owner already painted them so replacements are needed. What are your go to aftermarket cab lights? I would love to have shorter ones.. The OEM's make me nervous!

I'd just let a few pounds of air out of the tires...but then,I'm lazy!..

I'm not sure if there are any cab marker lamps with lower height than what you have now ?....

I have a set off an Iveco truck that look identical to those GM ones..

Roof on my truck has previous damage,and 1" thick bondo all across it that is chipping and peeling off,so I saw no sense in installing them now--not on the roof anyway--maybe the visor..but the more I thought about running wires,more lamps to keep lit to avoid tickets and inspection troubles,I haven't used them..
One thing my truck needs is a rear "headlight" so I can see backing up...stock ones suck,too dim,and wont come on half the time unless I hold the shifter "just right"..

I think there are some shorter ones, but they all look terrible, aftermarket cab lights are like nails on a chalk board to me.

The only aftermarket cab lights I can tolerate are the old dealer option ones, and they're taller than the stock ones,

First question, how much to they stick up from the roof? Kind of pointless to suggest options w/ partial info.

2nd, is that a rubber gasket under the amber lens? How thick and can it be removed? Maybe just silicone around the wire/ screw holes to waterproof and lower the whole light?

Doh, that would be helpful eh? It is 2" in height right now, that is a good idea on the gasket replacement! I will look into that first!. Thanks, its always good to have other ideas tossed around.

I think cab lights look cool,but aren't worth installing on a truck without them...factory optioned trucks had a special roof panel stamped out to match up with the lights,"standard" trucks didn't...usually they leak and cause the area over the sun visors to rot out and drip water on you..

You could go down 1" in tire size and solve the issue without having to deal with the cab lights..

Cab lights make everything better. Trucks that don't have them, or a visor, or just something above the windshield seem like they are missing something, like they're bald.

That being said, I despise most aftermarket cab lights, they never look right. I'd put cab lights on the Blazer, I just can't bring myself to drill the holes.
I'd put a set on the silver Dodge, but I don't want to take the visor off, since the visor makes that truck, THAT truck. (long story)

the smoked LED ones on eghey are a fair bit shorter I think....... pretty cool looking on the right rig... smoker mike tried to talk me into em for Mutt... I run the Lmc stock replacements and thought they where decent...
