Fiddlin with installing CB radio and checkin fuses to see why no brake lights and bumped the non-fused side of a circut to the turn signal flasher deal. Now there is no power at all in the cab at any fuse either side. I have eliminated all the excess wiring under the hood and ran a large 10ga wire to a jnct block at the firewall then tapped back into the factory wiring that goes into the bulkhead connector into the fuse box. I have power at the jnct block but nothing part that when it goes into the cab. I haven't pulled the fuse box off the firewall yet, hoping there might be a commen problem or another fuse link or something where it come into the cab that I don't know about.

got that one fixed, now have to figue out why no brake lights. where is the brake light switch located on these?

Brake light switch should be tucked way up under the dash off the top of the brake pedal pivot.

thanks, I guess thats what I get for trying to work on it in th emiddle of the night with a flashlight. Going wheelin in a few now.

Brake light troubles are often caused by a poor ground at the housing itself.
Check for power going out, then check for power coming in...if still no tail lights, it's the ground.
(or potentially the bulb socket)

I have trailer LED lights back there instead of stock setup. I'll pull the switch and check for power, looked and saw it but thats as far as I got the otehr day.
