Cab question

def a diesel cab, has the firewall mat and it appears to have a diesel fuel gauge.

The cab has an aftermarket AC setup. That's why there is the AC option on the selector but none of the other options like on a factory selector, the vent in the bezel is smaller in size, and there's those AC lines that enter the cab on the left side rather than the right.

x2 on it being a diesel no doubt. Has the glow plug/water in fuel dummy lights

I agree on it being a diesel cab, but are you referring to the extra dummy light bezel between the speedo and fuel gauge? A lot of gasser trucks got those too. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why either. At least as far as I can tell.

I knew it was a diesel cab. My question was more towards the heater / ac situation. I had thought it was heat only cab but thought it was odd that it had a/c on the heater control. Usually they said cool or nothing at all..

Yes I am. What are those for on gas trucks? I have never seen that on a square body that wasn't a diesel

It does like the diesel cover but I never saw a diesel non a/c so it doesn't look right :pimp:

CUCV’s !!

Also my grand dad had a 78 C10 he bought new that had the same insulation package . It’s pretty rare on gas trucks .

I have a set from a truck I parted was going to use it on a gasser, but I might be selling it first. Most mine are diesel anyway.

It's also very likely that the truck that cab came from had a York compressor and mount.
