just one question, actually.how does the cab come off the frame?the front fenders are ready to pull, the seat is out as well as the carpet.i cannot figure out how to remove the cab.please help!

there are bolts thru the frame into the cab. crawl underneath the truck and you'll find 4 bolts.

at least i made someone laugh!i was in a hurry and didn't explain myself.i know that the 4 bolts hold the cab to the frame and where they're located.the nut thats supposed to be welded to the inside of the cab supports is spinning.it's to rusted to re-weld it,so any other ideas would be helpful.thanks guys!

cut!..

Cut the head of the bolt off with a sawsall or torch..or peel the thick washer off thats under the bolt head(if its still there!)..the frame bracket for the cab mount bushings has a hole big enough for the bolt shank to pass thru when the cab is lifted off..

Here where I live,we rarely have to unbolt a cab..the mounts, rubber bushings, and bolts are usually already rotted off,and all we had to do was lift the cab off!...we have to weld big washers or plates to the frame brackets in order to bolt the cab back on properly...

you will need to cut through the floors to access the pocket where you will find the square nuts that are spinning
