Can I just replace the shift rod at my firewall with a shift cable and run that down to my tranny or do I have to replace it all (shifter, cable, and linkage. I just want to hook the cable to my column shifter and run that to my 700?

Can't see why not Shaun as long as you've got a way of securing the outer cable so that the inner can push and pull. That's all it does on my B&M shifter. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
