Does this sound like a sound deal. A guy has a 500 with th400 tranny on CL for $150 close to me. It is out of a '76. He says out of a rear wheel drive car. If I am understanding my searching correctly, it should have the 8.5:1 comp. I sent him another emaill to see if he knows whether it holds compression. The only thing I know so far is that he says it turns over.
