Anyone know off hand if the bolt/pin that hold the caliper onto the bracket is the same as D44 or 10bolt fronts?? Found one of the bolts broke in half on my 14BFF and was just curious if anyone knew. Rear disk brake set up on mine is TSM.

The sliders, you mean?

Pretty sure they are, 'cuz the Caddies are the same outer form factor as the D44/10b calipers.

We *are* talking about 76-78 Eldo, right ... oh, duh, you said 14bff, so yeah, same ones.

How the HECK you break one though? Remember, since they slide every time the caliper opens/closes, you gotta keep them nicely lubed; there's a nice silicone goop made just for that, bit lighter (thinner) than your usual bearing grease.

I have no idea how the hell it broke. I just heard this clanging noise from the rear brakes and looked at the bottom pin on the caliper was slpit in two pieces bouncing off the wheel. Thanks for the help guys!

I tell my buddies that fixing an old truck is easy -- you replace the parts that fell off. Bit scary when it's true :haha:
