Caddy spy shot UPDATE 10/24/04

Re: Caddy spy shot

is the snorkle going to come out the side of the fender?
Looks good Kert /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

Re: Caddy spy shot

haven't decided if the snorkle is gona go through the fender or up through the corner of the hood. May end up going through the passenger compartment. Really need to get some tubing in before I go further with that.

Re: Caddy spy shot

That one I built a while back just for the purpose of sealing up. It's all tig welded aluminum and can hold any diameter filter up to 14" but has to be 3" tall to seal.

Nope, not cold but if it wasn't under the truck it'd be totally buried in one of the other various storage locations. Just thinking ahead.

Definitely, if you get some stuff lined up to do I could buzz over there some weekend to do some wrenching as well. Make it a wrenching party. You buy the beer! Hell will just crank it up and keep going until the beer is gone or we pass out.

I can make some more room yet. Don't think I want it to go back anymore though. Pretty much all behind the front axle anyhow. After that the benefit of going back more become less and less obvious.

Re: Caddy spy shot

Did you finish your motor mounts yet casue i need some ideas. Are you putting in yours in the stock location? If so did the firewall casue you troubles? What other troubles have you ran into so far? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Re: Caddy spy shot

I'll get some pics of the motor mounts but nothing there is stock. The factory crossmember is gone. I made my own. The factory motor mounts are gone the caddy mounts arent there either. There is another thread here somewhere with some pics or maybe check out my gallery. I hammered the firewall a bit and trimmed some here and there and slid it back as far as possible. Beings mine is all custom fabbed I really didn't run into any trouble. Sometimes its easier to build your own stuff then try and get different makes models or years to work together.
