okay first of all im stoked to say my DIY4x shackle flip is bolted up and ready to go. all i have to do is bolt up the shackles and i'm ready for the trails.
i've abandoned my dreams of sticking a big block in the suburban for my new project: 1969 coupe deville. it has a 472 which i believe has a cracked block. so i have a question for you guys. i'm looking to build a torque monster in this thing. what would be the best for this a cadillac 472 or 500?
or would it be better to rebuild my engine i have in there now? it's never cranked over and the previous owner said it has major piston slap and i suspect a cracked block by now.
