Hello All,
Pics of Mike's cage work at Bent and Twisted.

That's a clean job. I like the center console extension. Where's Bent & Twisted located? Are they near the Bay Area. I'm gonna need some tube work done soon.

They are in Chico. So I say that is close.

Mike and I are designing a cage that incorporates a center console/floor shifter/gauge mount similar to the Heep you see but for Blazers.

I am in the Bay Area and get all my work done there. My best bud and engine builder manages the shop for Petterson Motorsports also. Chico is awesome.

How much does he charge by the hour? I may be talking to him about a cage. I want to put one in through the floor into the frame and then mount my seats and belts to it... be nice to find someone like that close to me....

I am NOT a J**p fan, never have been, never will be. But if I was, then this would be what I'd like it to look like. Very clean work, especially the center console!

CCG,
I do not know what he charges for cage work.

(530)342-3003 Call him. Tell him I said hi. (his phone was knocked out during the storm, couldn't reach him today)

Slayer,
Pretty typical of his work. Ask him for pics of his Bronco (2nd place TTC 2000 I think)
That jeep is pretty awesome in a number of custom ways!

Did you see the pics of my sliders? That is the begining of my cage.

Yup, I like your Blazer, the black paint looks good. I know that black is a hard color to get body panels right with, but it does look cool. AND a black Vette, hmm, aren't we a little greedy, hehe.

I am not greedy - the vette is polo green not black. LOL

Hahahahaha......I would have NEVER, in a MILLION YEARS guessed that I would find a pic of my CJ on this bulletin board!! Glad you guys like it. Mike does kick-azz work.

I can respect a good vehicle when I see it. How do you like the 460? Enough power? I see broken axles in your future (but a whole lotta fun!).

The front bumper was designed to relocate the headlights that were displaced for a larger raditor and it is a winch mount bumper. That is prolly the cage thingy you are talking about.

Yep, and the cage thing-a-ma-jiggy is there to house the winch that normally resides there. We had to remove it andmount it on our other Jeep for the CalROCKS RockCrawling Competition a coupla weeks ago.

One of my only complaints about the whole thing is he fact that we had to relocate the headlights from their stock location. In an effort to get this thing street-legal, I am going to remove the oversized radiator and have a new one made that will allow me to fitthe headlights back into their buckets. Hope the 460 doesn't overheat accordingly. Right now, it runs at 182 degrees, rain or shine.
